Profile
Jim Jackson is a trial attorney in Little Rock, Arkansas. He began practicing law in Arkansas in 1993, and since then has become one of the premier personal injury and products liability lawyers in the region.  In the past two years alone, Jackson has recovered more than $20 million in verdicts and settlements for his clients.

He represents his clients with a tenacity that can be rivaled.  Being involved in litigation against big companies like Firestone and American Airlines, Jackson has squared off against some of the best lawyers and legal teams in the country.  He has stood his ground and won.  He recovered a $3.3 million jury verdict for a family whose two young girls were hurt on American Airlines flight 1420, which caught fire on the runway at the Little Rock airport.  When the airline's legal team appealed the amount of the verdict, he successfully defended against the airline's challenges so his clients could get their compensation.

Jackson grew up in south Arkansas and graduated from Hope High School.  After completing a history degree at Hendrix College, he attended the William H. Bowen School of Law at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.  Jackson was raised and educated in Arkansas, and has made his living fighting for fellow Arkansans who have been harmed by the negligence of others.

Jackson has an impressive record. He was selected as a 2006 Mid-South Super Lawyer.   He is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, a prestigious group of elite trial lawyers who have won million or multi-million dollar results for their clients.  Jackson settled his first million-dollar case in 1995, just two years out of law school.

He has been recognized repeatedly by his peers in the legal community for his exemplary trial skills and his breadth of knowledge.  He is frequently called upon to speak to other attorneys on issues such as complex litigation, using demonstrative exhibits effectively, garage policies, and stacking.  The American Trial Layers Association invited Jackson to speak at it annual convention in Orlando, Florida, to discuss his successful representation of families who were hurt due to a crucial design flaw of Ford 15-passenger vans.

When he's not at work, in court, or advising other attorneys, Jackson is involved in a number of community activities, including serving as a Big Brother for the Big Brother Big Sister Program.  Jackson lives in Little Rock with his wife, Lisa, and their two sons, Adam and Luke.
