The Historic Preservation Alliance of Arkansas works to preserve Arkansas' historic structures and landscapes. To that end, all Alliance programs are designed with dual goals in mind: to encourage and reinforce a professional level of understanding about preservation standards, and to develop support for the preservation movement in Arkansas. These goals are applied in four program areas: advocacy and promotion, education and public awareness, legislation and public policy, and training and technical assistance.
