Jim Jackson is frequently called upon to speak to attorneys on issues such as complex litigation, effectively using demonstrative exhibits at trial and liability insurance coverage. He is recognized as an authority on insurance issues such as Underinsurance, Uninsurance, Garage Policies and Stacking. The American Trial Lawyers Association invited him to speak at their annual convention in Orlando, Florida on the issues surrounding 15 passenger van litigation.
He received the 2000 President’s award from ATLA for his legal work in the American Airlines crash. He was elected by his peers to serve as a member of the Arkansas Bar Association’s House of Delegates. He also serves on several committees within the Arkansas Bar Association. Fellow trial attorneys elected him to the Board of Governors for ATLA. Jackson was also elected president of Young Lawyers’ Division of ATLA.
